Meet Lina: Our Founder and Creative Director
Lina Garcia’s story is rooted in heritage, craftsmanship, and a bold vision for the future of fashion. Born and raised in Colombia, she grew up surrounded by the skilled hands of her mother and grandmother—women who inspired her early love for design. While still in college, she began creating pieces at her family’s factory.
Driven by a dream to go further, Lina moved to New York City in 2012 to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). She later worked with leading ready-to-wear brands, including J.Crew and GAP, where she refined her approach to thoughtful design and responsible production.
In 2024, she launched LINA GARCIA ATELIER—a brand built on sustainability, craftsmanship, and care. Each piece is designed to feel timeless, versatile, and made with intention.
More than clothing, this is a celebration of the hands behind each piece and the women who wear them.
