Meet Lina: Our Founder and Creative Director
Lina Garcia’s story is one of heart, heritage, and a bold vision for the future of fashion. Born and raised in Colombia, she grew up surrounded by the skilled hands of her mother and grandmother—women whose dedication and craft sparked Lina’s early love for design. While still in college, she began creating pieces with her family, selling them to support her dream of studying fashion abroad.
That dream brought her to New York City in 2012, where she studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and went on to work with leading ready-to-wear brands like J.Crew. Her designs earned praise from the fashion world, all while deepening her knowledge of thoughtful design and responsible production.
In 2024, Lina launched LINA GARCIA ATELIER—a brand inspired by the strength of the women who raised her and built on values that matter: sustainability, craftsmanship, and care. Every piece is designed to feel timeless and wearable, with purpose stitched into every detail.
